About us
Building workplaces where gender diverse people thrive
Trans Can Work connects TGI talent with inclusive employers, and helps workplaces become places where everyone can do their best work.
Our mission
Our mission is to create a culture nationwide where gender diverse people can thrive in the workplace.
Our vision
We envision a world where the barriers to employment for transgender people are dismantled, and where they can pursue fulfilling careers free from discrimination and prejudice. This vision includes several key elements that enable empowerment, equality and dignity for transgender workers everywhere.
-
Equal opportunity
We advocate for equal employment opportunities for transgender people, so they have access to the same job prospects as anyone else, regardless of gender identity.
-
Inclusive workplaces
We work toward workplaces that welcome transgender employees, where diversity is celebrated and everyone feels respected and valued for who they are.
-
Supportive policies
We promote policies that protect the rights of transgender workers, including non-discrimination policies, healthcare coverage for gender-affirming care, and appropriate restroom and dress code accommodations.
-
Education and awareness
We raise awareness of the challenges transgender people face at work, and teach employers and coworkers how to create more inclusive environments.
-
Career development
We provide resources and support for the professional growth of transgender people, helping them advance in their careers and reach their full potential.
